Elegant Intelligence.
Exploring the Unknown.

An independent radio astronomy project. No observatory yet — just open data, small models, and one person doing the work.

Where the name comes from

Vyoma is Sanskrit for sky — the space radio waves cross before anything built by hand can catch them. The swan is Cygnus, drawn as one on old star charts, and home to Cygnus A, one of the brightest radio sources beyond our galaxy.

The plan itself stays narrow. Not a network, not a company — one small radio observatory, run independently, most likely five years or more from now.

Before the dish, there's data

An observatory takes years most people don't start with. So the actual work today happens somewhere else.

01Collect
Pull raw recordings from open, public radio observatories already running around the world.
02Process
Run that data through small models built specifically for this — not a general-purpose system.
03Document
Write down what's learned, mistakes included, before any hardware gets bought.

A slow build, on purpose

Now Aggregate & model. Collect open data, build small models, and learn what this actually takes.
Next Publish. Share tools and findings as the models mature.
5+ years Build. One small radio observatory — modest, independent, no network.

Vyoma Swan is built by one person — COSCAST — no team, no office, no funding round. Progress and mistakes get posted at @coscasts04.
